Robert E. Burnett
He was born in N. Ireland, came to America by way of the Port of New York and settled in Jefferson County, VA around 1838. According to the 1860 Virginia census he had to have bee born around 1818.

His occupation was that of overseer of the Bushrod Corbin Washington Estate, Claymont Court, Jefferson County, VA., now West VA. It was built in 1820 and is close to Winchester VA and Charles Town WV, about 65 miles from Washington DC in the Shenandoah Valley. In 1838 the interior of the house was destroyed by fire and was rebuilt as it originally existed. It was an estate of over 1000 acres and one of the finest livestock farms in that part of Virginia.

Bushrod Washington was grand nephew to President George Washington and grandson of John Augustine Washington, George's brother.
