Catherine 'Kitty' Burnett Isham
Catherine "Kitty" Isham, 92, Grants Pass, a former Klamath Falls resident, died Jan. 12, 2004, in Grants Pass.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Linkville Cemetery in Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Isham was born Sept. 19, 1911, in Martinsburg, W.Va., to Stewart and Rosa Burnett.
She was raised in Klamath Falls and graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1931.
She was active in 4-H, both as a member and a leader.
She and her first husband Arthur Stewart lived in Phoenix, Ariz., where they owned a well-drilling business, before moving to Tacna, Ariz., and owning a hardware store and well-drilling firm there. He preceded her in death in Tacna.
In 1965, she moved to Grants Pass. She married her second husband Harvey Isham, who also preceded her in death in 1971.
Mrs. Isham was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Women's Business and Professional Club, and Grants Pass Garden Club.
Survivors include her son Samuel Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter Gloria Rosenbaum of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers George Burnett of Klamath Falls and Amos Burnett of Brookings; sisters Pauline Spicer of Grants Pass, Mary Heavilin of Silver Lake, and Jean Kane of Christmas Valley; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
